1. Faith Formation

Our Faith Formation program is designed to help parishioners of all ages grow in their understanding of the Catholic faith and deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ. 2. Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)

For those who are considering joining the Catholic Church or who have never been baptized, the RCIA program at St. Joseph Somerset provides a welcoming and supportive environment to explore the Catholic faith. Through a series of classes and discussions, participants learn about the beliefs, practices, and traditions of the Church. The journey culminates in the reception of the sacraments of initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist) during the Easter Vigil. 3. Vocations

St. Joseph Somerset recognizes the vital role of vocations in the life of the Church, and we are committed to fostering a culture of discernment and prayerful support for those considering a religious vocation. We offer guidance and resources for those discerning a call to the priesthood, religious life, or lay ministry. Our Vocations ministry also provides opportunities for parishioners to pray for and support those who are actively pursuing a vocation in service to the Church.

4. Bible Study

Delving into the Word of God is a powerful way to deepen our faith and draw closer to Christ. Our Bible Study ministry at St. Joseph Somerset invites parishioners to come together in small groups to explore the Scriptures, engage in thoughtful discussions, and discover the richness of God's message for our lives. We offer various Bible Study sessions throughout the year, catering to different schedules and interests.

5. Confraternity of Christian Doctrine (C.C.D.)

Our C.C.D. program is dedicated to the religious education of children and young people in our parish community. Through age-appropriate classes and activities, we aim to nurture their faith and help them develop a strong foundation in the teachings and traditions of the Catholic Church. Our dedicated team of volunteer catechists is committed to sharing the love of Christ with the next generation and guiding them on their spiritual journey.
